~ Normanville Island ~
Accessible via the rocky Normanville Causeway, Normanville Island used to be one of the main points of access to the mines that litter the area. 15 years the island was left alone with companies trying to purchase the land for residential purposes, but environmentalists got their way and the island was turned into a national park. With walking trails, fishing spots and beaches, what more could you want. Recently though, tremors have shock the area causing holes on the land that lead into the mines.
